Dark mode isn't applied in book

Describe the bug

Best of Wikipedia (short text, 314 mb) appears in light mode, despite choosing dark mode in settings. Dark mode works without a problem in Wikipedia 100 (short text) and Wikipedia'nın en iyisi (short text).
Expected behavior

Browser should appear in dark mode.
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Download Best of wikipedia (short text)
2. Enable dark mode in settings
3. Open the book
4. See error

Environment

• Version of Kiwix Android : 3.14.0
• Device : Redmi
• OS version : 13

Logs

Can't export logs since that is also bugged.

All depends if the ZIM file support the dark mode or not. Same as with a web site. What is exactly the name of your ZIM file?

Please open an other issue if you have a problem with the diagnostic feature.

@stacsk The wikipedia_en_top_mini_2026-03.zim ZIM file is working fine in both day and night themes. Both app settings and device settings are applied to the ZIM file.

#4014 is for improving the diagnostic report feature. But the feature is working. We are receiving the diagnostic reports from users. Can you please describe the issue you are facing while sending the report?

When I press send details, it tells me to install an email client, but I already have Thunderbird installed. I mentioned that issue because it also said
